Scientific coordination is a department in charge of structuring, planning and executing scientific, academic and social work at Clinica Morillas. It acts under the authority of a committee led by Professor Morillas and specialized supporting staff.
1.- Medical Residency in Plastic Surgery
Clinica Morillas educates future plastic surgery specialists on the basis of university teaching, research and a post-doctorate agreement with thee Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal and as a member of the San Pablo-Morillas Academic Consortium with Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. Residents receive a comprehensive education and have the opportunity to pursue apprenticeships in prestigious services of the specialty in Peru and abroad. At the end of their training, residents are active members of the “Professor Cesar Morillas Alumni Association” and can apply to enter The “Professor Ivo Pintaguy Alumni Association (Brazil)” in accordance to its rules for being disciples of an alumnus.
2.- Library and Video Library
The Clinica Morillas's library offers the medical community access to scientific reviews and updated specialty books. It is a requirement to first register in the library's office before using any material. Our video library also has videos from congresses, courses, etc.
3.- Professor Cesar Morillas Alumni Association (AEPCMO)
AEPCMO (Asociacion de Exalumnos del Profesor Cesar Morillas) was founded in September 2000 and was first constituted of 18 specialists who did their training under Professor Cesar Morillas. Its main objective is to maintain the highest scientific level of the school and keep members informed of recent developments in the field.
